Ignaz Lorber (born 1759 in Kappel) moved to Schutterzell.
Werdegang
Ignaz 's grandchildren were among the Lorbers who added a second "e" to their name to match the spelling of the spice.
Outstanding biographies
Anton Lorber (around 1782-1830), owner of the mill at Schutterzell, before it was auctioned in 1818.
Anton Lorbe (e) r (1821-1867), son of the aforementioned Anton, changed the spelling to "Laurel" for himself and his family
Spread today
Descendants of this laurel branch are still found in Schutterzell.
