Johann Bernhard Lorbe (e) r Senior (1706-1779), mayor's son from Rastenberg, pharmacist in Naumburg
Werdegang
The son of mayor Johann Bernhard Lorber from Rastenberg took over the unicorn pharmacy in Herrengasse in Naumburg at the age of 26. With a brilliant "marketing idea" he renamed it Laurel Tree Pharmacy and got himself a second "e" in the last name. To this day, his descendants bear the name "Laurel" in this spelling.
Johann Bernhard Lorbeer Junior (1734-1800), doctor in Naumburg and progenitor of the Russian branch;
Gottlieb Reinhold Lorbeer (1738-1812), pharmacist in Adorf;
Johann Martin Lebrecht Lorbeer (1744-1809), merchant in Vienna.
