Johann (III. The Younger) Lorber (1671-1746), one of the three brothers and his son Nikolaus Lorber (1709-1788), who was still born in Gräfenhäusling and in 1730 in the old St. Martin's Church in Bamberg married the head girl Margaretha Dumbroff (1710-1786) and founded his family there with her.
Werdegang
In fact, the Oberküpser have remained in the town since 1730. A secondary branch came to Lauter near Baunach (see Louder branch), another to Fürth (Fürther Nebenzweig), a third after Sylbach near Haßfurt (Sylbach house). Many of the peasant family later became workers.
Johann Lorber (1734-1790), Schubkärrner, married Martha Müller from Lauter near Baunach in 1767 and founded the company there > Louder branch;
Andreas Lorber (1743-1806), Schultheiß von Oberküps, married to Elisabeth Cammerer (around 1747-1807), who was born in Weinburg near St. Pölten as the daughter of a Lower Austrian fisherman and a mother who came from Oberküps;
Johann Michael Lorber (1842-1891) sought his luck as a tailor in Fürth in 1873> Fürther Nebenzweig
Romanus Augustus "August" Lorber (1880-1963), founder of the > Sylbach house;
Gregor Lorber (1881-1929), farmer and soldier in World War I (photo), brother of Romanus Augustus;
Spread today
Even today namesakes (for over 290 years, so) live in the old courtyard in Oberküps, others in Bamberg, Lauter, Sylbach, in the Rhineland and Munich.
