Past branches

The past branches

Some branches of our family have merged into other, younger branches. Others are also extinct. For some, the course of the story is still a mystery.

Former branches of the family (dead and transferred to newer ones)

To explain the terms:
  • Parent line = Earliest occurrences of our family, common roots from the Middle Ages
  • line = Particularly early known branches of the trunk lines, even before the branches
  • Branch = Branches existing before the time of the church records (around 1600)
  • branch = Branches of the branches to be assigned using church records (approx. Between 1600 and 1800)
  • Second branch = Branches from the branches (approx. Between 1800 and 1900)
  • House = Modern branches (after 1900)
